WHAT: 9U, 7 games

DIVISION: Recommended for developing beginners (8yo-9yo)

GAMES: Full court, 10ft rims

TIME: 8 min running quarters. 1 minute in-between quarters, 2 minute half

TIMEOUTS: 3 full timeouts, 2 half timeouts per team per game.

WARM UP: 10 minute warm up.

TEAM FOULS: 5 team fouls results in 2 bonus free throws. Team fouls reset every quarter.

PERSONAL FOULS: 5 personal fouls per player. When 5 fouls are reached for a player in a game, the player must sit for the rest of the game. If a player makes a shot and is fouled during the shot, an automatic 1 point will be added to their score.

TECHNICAL FOULS: Opposing team will receive an automatic 2 points and possession of ball. Spectators of teams and coaches will receive 1 warning before technical is initiated. 2nd technical will result in removal of game. If a player, spectator, or coach is removed twice from a game, that person will be removed permanently league without refund.

LEAGUE:

Each team will play each other twice. On the 7th game seed 1 will play seed 2 for Championship and seed 3 will play Seed 4 for Consolation . Rankings for team will depend on record. Rankings for team will depend on winning record. If there are ties, seeding will be determined by better winning percentage in all games among the tied teams. Better net result of total points scored less total points allowed against tied teams (“point differential”) if needed.

• TAKI FIT reserves the rights to refuse service to anyone. We have a zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike behavior including profane, violent, disrespectful, or distributive behavior from coaches, players, and spectators. Such behavior will result in removal of game and possible termination from league without refund.

• Limited seating available at the games, spectators may bring their own chairs and setup anywhere in the labeled spectating areas (across from players, sidelines, and out of walk way areas).
