WHAT: 3rd Grade & Under, 8 summer games

DIVISION: Recommended for Advanced 1st-Beginner 3rd Graders

(Players must be in/completed 3rd grade or under 3rd grade as of 5/30)

Taking first 3 teams to register

GAMES:

Short (side rims) full court, 8.5ft rims, 8min running quarters. 1 minute in-between quarters, 2 minute half. 1-1 minute timeout per half per team. 10 minute warm up.

Fouls:

Common Fouls: +1 and ball back to fouled team

Shooting Fouls: +1 and 1 free throw to fouled team

Technical Foul (Deemed unsportsmanlike in nature): +2 points to fouled team and ball back, player who received the technical foul must sit for the rest for the rest of the quarter and following.

Flagrent Foul (Unnecessary and/or excessive contact occurs):

-If a player receives 2 technicals in 1 game, they will sit for the rest of the game

-If a player receives 2 technical fouls they do not get to return to the game

-1 Flagrent Foul player will sit out for the game

-If a player must sit for 2 games, they will not be able to play for the rest of the season.

LEAGUE:

Each team will play each other twice. Seed 1 will play Seed 4 game and Seed 2 will play Seed 3 for the 7th. Winners of game 7 will play each other for the last game for Championship and Consolation. Rankings for team will depend on winning record. If there are ties, seeding will be determined by better winning percentage in all games among the tied teams. Better net result of total points scored less total points allowed against tied teams (“point differential”) if needed.

• TAKI FIT reserves the rights to refuse service to anyone. We have a zero tolerance for unsportsmanlike behavior including profane, violent, disrespectful, or distributive behavior from coaches, players, and spectators. Such behavior will result in removal of game and possible termination from league without refund.

• Spectators must bring their own chairs and setup anywhere in the labeled spectating areas.
